The Livery Stable

The Livery Stable is a one of kind Special Event Venue located on Trinity Street in Downtown Abbeville. Offering a rustic setting that is truly unmatched for your wedding reception of other special event, the Livery Stable is an amazing setting for any occasion.

Since the Livery Stable is a semi-outdoor space, it does not have air conditioning, heat, or a kitchen. We do not provide tables or chairs. The Stable does have both Men’s and Women’s Restrooms and electricity. 

NEW FOR 2020: Please note that the Livery Stable is home to the Farmer’s Market every Friday morning. Renters will not have access to the stable until 1:30 PM on Fridays. For renters who must access the Livery Stable before that time, please contact City staff to discuss available options.

Rental Rates

Sunday-Thursday $200 $100 $50 50%
Friday-Saturday $500 $250 $200 50%

A fully refundable Security Deposit of $200 is required to secure the space. The entire rental fee is due before the event.

Please make sure to read contract information and speak with City Staff if your event intends to have alcohol.

*Note that for parties serving alcohol, security personnel are required and two weeks notice must be given.  A $50 per hour charge will also be added onto the cost of the rental to cover security personnel expenses. (Only for hours in which alcohol is being served)
